Access to basic services

Access to basic services such as health and education, is often greatly reduced during crises. Ensuring that people do have access to these is one of the main challenges in post-crisis and protracted crisis situations.

Health and education are not areas that Groupe URD specialises in. However, as they are essential sectors in all crisis and disaster contexts, they are often included in cross-sector analysis or in research or evaluations to do with post-crisis reconstruction.
