Between humanitarian aid and development: guaranteeing access to basic services in CAR

ECHO and DEVCO are drawing up an operational strategy to respond to current humanitarian needs in the Central African Republic while maintaining links between relief, rehabilitation and development. The objective is to ensure that the activities implemented prepare the return to normality and development as quickly as possible in this country affected by both structural and temporary crises. In connection with the INSPIRE Consortium, Groupe URD was asked to provide support by mapping current humanitarian and development projects. This will be used as a reference to develop a strategy to provide the population with access to basic services, and for this access to continue throughout the different phases to come.
