Conference: "Abidjan - 5 months of conflict: spotlight on a crisis", Geneva, 1 December 2011
The CERAH’s week of events on the theme “Crises and humanitarian interventions in urban contexts” looks at the specific characteristics of humanitarian operations in urban environments. Abidjan, the capital of the Ivory Coast has been the scene of conflict for several months which has caused problems for the urban system and raised questions about humanitarian methods.
Groupe URD will be among the contributors during the conference entitled “Abidjan – 5 months of conflict : spotlight on a crisis” during which we will report on a field visit we conducted in April 2011.
