Evaluation for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Ghana, in partnership with IRAM

Groupe URD, in partnership with IRAM, is in charge of the mid-term evaluation of the Country Programme being implemented by the World Food Programme (WFP) in Ghana over a period of 5 years (2012-2016). This programme principally covers the regions located in the north of the country and aims to reinforce the capacity of the Ghanaian government and local communities to establish food and nutritional security sustainably. It includes three main sections: i) support for access to education, particularly for girls; ii) specific nutritional support to vulnerable groups; iii) resilience against climatic shocks and support to livelihoods. With our partners we will be evaluating the quality and results of this programme, making operational and strategic recommendations and also identifying lessons for future WFP operations in Ghana or in other similar contexts.
