Evaluation of a WASH project by ACF in the Ivory Coast

Groupe URD is carrying out the final evaluation of ACF’s project Amélioration des conditions d’accès à l’eau potable et à l’assainissement des populations vulnérables du quartier du Bardo – San Pedro – Côte d’Ivoire (Improving access to potable water and sanitation for vulnerable people in the Bardo neighbourhood of San Pedro in the Ivory Coast).
Groupe URD was asked by the NGO Action Contre la Faim to carry out the final external evaluation of its WASH programmes in the city of San Pedro in Ivory Coast from December 2007 to June 2010.
This evaluation will involve a field visit of 15 days, with interviews in Abidjan and San Pedro and numerous visits, discussion groups and meetings with beneficiaries, partners (in particular the CREPA of Ivory Coast) and local actors in the area.
This final evaluation was requested by the donor, the European Union, and will be based on the DAC/OECD criteria.
