Evaluation of a Water and sanitation programme for Solidarités, Yogyakarta, Java

A Groupe URD evaluator went to the island of Java from 8 to 18 March 2007 to conduct the field-based part of the evaluation of a water and sanitation project run by Solidarités following the earthquake in the region to the south of Yogyakarta in May 2006.
This evaluation had two objectives:
- To evaluate the impact of the project (which had ended in January 2007) as requested by the donor, ECHO;
- To use the COMPAS quality assurance method and the Dynamic COMPAS® software, which was being tested by Solidarités.
