On 30th and 31st May, join us to debate the issues shaping current and future humanitarian aid
With practices subjected to more and more standards and norms, the professionalisation and structuring of the « system » and demands for improved performance, is humanitarian aid still – and above all – provided in the name of the founding principle of humanity. Political instrumentalisation and challenges to aid independence ; quality, accountability and accreditation ; the financing of aid in times of economic crisis ; placing communities at the centre of humanitarian action ; innovating using the opportunities provided by new technologies, etc. … And making sure that humanity remains at the heart of humanitarianism… The 30th and 31st May, in Plaisians, will be an opportunity to think “Out of the Box” about all of these issues which affect current and future humanitarian aid.
Registration before 22 May.
