Sigmah training course, Paris, 27 March 2014
This training course, which is being co-organised by Groupe URD and Coordination SUD, is an introduction to Sigmah, open source software for the shared management of humanitarian and development projects. Participants will learn what the software can help them to do will gain hands-on experience of using it. They will also learn about the issues involved in adopting the software within their organisation as part of a quality approach and about the collective nature of the project.
The course will be organised into two modules:
- 1st half day, 9am to 1pm (initiation): presentation of the project, demonstration of how to use the software and a simple, initial, hands-on trial;
- 2nd half day, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm (to go into more depth): an optional half day to go further in learning about the software, and also find out about the connection between Sigmah and a Quaity approach.

The training course, led by Groupe URD, will take place at the headquarters of Coordination SUD (14 Passage Dubail, 75010 Paris) on Thursday 27 March 2014. It will start at 9am. The morning session will end at 1pm. The afternoon session will take place between 2.30pm and 5pm. Lunch will be provided from 1pm to 2.30pm.
- For members of Coordination SUD: 25 euros
- For non members: 50 Euros The fee is the same for the morning alone or for the whole day.
