This will involve looking into the methods used to evaluate and measure the results of programmes which target the economic security of specific groups.

Two areas will therefore be analysed:

  • The reach and effects of EcoSec programmes on economic security;
  • The pertinence of the methods and indicators used.

This work is being carrid out during the last quarter of 2012. The main types of EcoSec programmes are food aid and the distribution of non-food products, programmes involving crop and livestock farming and fishing, and micro-economic initiatives.
