Support in writing a capacity building project for agricultural cooperatives for CORDAID in northern Afghanistan

Groupe URD was commissioned by CORDAID to provide methodological support to its Afghan partner, NPO-RRAA, to improve their project planning and management skills.
NPO-RRAA, an Afghan NGO, asked its partners CORDAID to fund a capacity building project for agricultural cooperatives. CORDAID then asked Groupe URD to help improve the planning of this project.
A joint team (Groupe URD / NPO-RRAA) consulted a variety of actors who were either directly or indirectly involved in the creation of cooperatives (government representatives, international agencies, NGOs and several cooperatives), in order to define different ways in which the project could be designed.
The results obtained were used in a practical training course on the subject of project planning, during which the project was written collectively.
