Training course: “The Participation of Crisis-affected People in Humanitarian Action”
Do you want to improve the implementation of participatory approaches in your programmes and your organisation? Do you want to acquire new tools or analyse your own participatory practices? Do you want to adapt your approach to the specific contexts of humanitarian aid? Groupe URD is organizing a training course on “The Participation of Crisis-affected People in Humanitarian Action” from 27 to 30 April 2015 at our training centre in Plaisians (Drôme provençale in the South of France).
To register, please complete the registration form below and send it by email to Anna Lear no later than 6 April 2015. Also attached is a description of the training course and a presentation of Groupe URD’s training centre.
This training course is aimed at professionals from the international aid sector who run projects (e.g. heads of programmes, heads of projects, supervisors/facilitators who work in the field for humanitarian organisations, etc.).

- Fluency in French (writing, reading and speaking)
By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with the key concepts and main issues related to participation (definitions, typology, constraints, opportunities, tools, etc.) with a view to drawing up and implementing a strategy which is adapted to the context.
