Training of Afghan managers working for international NGOs in Afghanistan (Kabul and the provinces)
December 2009 - March 2013
From December 2009 to March 2013, Groupe URD has been running training courses for Afghan civil society organizations (particularly for Afghans working for international NGOs). To help implement this project, Groupe URD established a partnership with ACBAR – the Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief to implement the project. The project ended on 31 March 2013, with the aim of handing over to ACBAR’s Afghan trainers so that they can run the modules that have been specially developed for the local context.
The training modules were developed with funding from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the French Embassy in Afghanistan. Groupe URD carried out an assessment, in France and in Afghanistan, to better understand training needs and design tailor-made training courses. The project ended on 31 March 2013, with the aim of handing over to ACBAR’s Afghan trainers so that they can run the modules that have been specially developed for the local context.
Each course lasts for 5 days and is limited to 20 participants.
