- Indian ocean Tsunami 2004 : 10 lessons learnt from the evaluation of the humanitarian response funded by the french state
François Grünewald, Béatrice Boyer and Hugues Maury of Groupe URD presented 10 lessons to be drawn from the evaluation of French aid to countries on the Indian Ocean hit by the natural disasters of December 2004 and March 2005.

- Knowledge management of NGO experiences: the case of El Salvador four months after the 2001 earthquake (Iterative evaluations with mini seminars: Mission n°1)
This evaluation was carried out by Jose Carid, Eric Levron and Véronique de Geoffroy four months after the January 2001 earthquake and two years after hurricane Mitch. It had all the advantages of ‘real time' evaluation, regular evaluation and accelerated learning mechanisms due to reconstructions at every stage.

- Knowledge management of reconstruction operations in Central America (3 years after Mitch in Nicaragua and Honduras and 8 months after the earthquakes in El Salvador: iterative evaluations with mini seminars : Mission n°2)
This evaluation was carried out in El Salvador in September 2001 by François Grünewald, Véronique de Geoffroy and Eric Levron (Quality project team). Its aim was to establish what lessons could be learned 3 years after hurricane Mitch. The analysis was structured around 3 technical themes (habitat – food and economic security – social, health and education services, …) and 4 cross-sector themes (participation and coordination, risk prevention, the passage from the donation to the payment of costs, population displacement).
