The training team is comprised of four experienced staff members who also conduct research and evaluations, URD’s main specialisation:

- Véronique de Geoffroy (qualified in International Humanitarian Law, in charge of the Quality project) ;
- Domitille Kauffmann (agricultural engineer specialised in human nutrition, quality specialist) ;
- Karla Lévy (computer engineer, specialised in information management, humanitarian project management, head of Dynamic COMPAS project, qualified in Training of Trainers (JCI PRIME 1995) ;
- Bonaventure Sokpoh (agro–economist with extensive experience of evaluation and knowledge management).

Certain associate trainers (consultants, members of the association board) are sometimes called upon to complement the team for certain sessions:
- François Grünewald, president of Groupe URD, international specialist in evaluation, associate professor for the Masters in Humanitarian Management at Paris XII University, of which he was the director for 6 years.
- Claire Pirotte, doctor, treasurer of Groupe URD, director of the Masters in 'Analysis of crises and humanitarian action’ in the Université de Savoie – Chambéry.
- Hugues Maury, doctor, expert in the application of quality processes in the hospital sector, co-director of the Quality project.
