Evaluation of of an economic recovery project in rural areas in DRC
August 2008, for Dan Church Aid

Groupe URD conducted an evaluation of an economic recovery project in rural areas and a diagnosis of the state of food security in the same territory for the NGO Dan Church Aid.

The project, called Nyunzu Rural Economic Recovery Project (NRERP), was carried out in the Democratic Republic of Congo by DAN Church Aid and has been evaluated by Groupe URD.

Following the presentation of the evaluation results to the teams and partners in the field, an assessment was then carried out of food security in the Nyunzu territory of Congo, in order to plan a 3-year project, based on the lessons learned from the NRERP.

The evaluation and assessment were both carried out using the Quality COMPAS reference framework.
