Presentation of the Djibouti Zero Hunger Strategic Review, 16 October 2018, Paris

What can be done to ensure that all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contribute to achieving SDG 2 on Zero Hunger? This is an important question for the international aid sector in its search for greater coherence, and it was with this in mind that Groupe URD carried out the Djibouti Zero Hunger Strategic Review for the World Food Programme and the Djiboutian Government. It is with great pleasure that WFP and Groupe URD invite you to a presentation of the results of this Review on World Food Day, 16 October 2018, at UNESCO in Paris.

Carried out by a mixed French and Djiboutian team, including researchers from the University of Djibouti and the Institut de recherche sur la Corne de l’Afrique (IRICA), the report aims to assess the current state of economic and food security in Djibouti, a country directly affected by the effects of climate change, economic globalisation, tensions in the Horn of Africa and migration.
