The evaluation aimed to look at the quality and results of the programme which covered all the areas of the country in crisis and to reinforce the food security, livelihoods and resilience of the Central African refugees in the south and Sudanese refugees and Chadian IDPs in the east, as well as attempting to counter climatic disturbance in the Sahelian strip.
The programme also aimed to reinforce Chadian state institutions in order to improve the early warning system and the response to crises.
The evaluation was also an opportunity for strategic reflection about future WFP projects in the country.
