Two issues are proposed to launch the debates:

  • How can we position ourselves – and is it necessary to position ourselves – as a humanitarian actor in order to allow humanitarian action to be deployed in countries where humanitarian access is likely to be difficult?
  • How have disaster risk reduction (DRR) activities in Indonesia since the 2004 tsunami by international organizations, local authorities and civil protection reduced the impact of the disaster?

This event will take place at the premises of the French Red Cross (Montrouge) from 2pm to 6pm, for a public concerned by these interventions.
