The Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF) supports and promotes innovations that it considers to be the most innovative and likely to resolve the challenges faced by humanitarian actors. In five years, the HIF has supported the development and implementation of more than 80 projects and initiatives. The Journey to Scale programme builds on this experience and aims to support the scaling of innovations in the sector, an essential but often difficult step to implement without assistance.
The nine projects that have been selected among more than 40 candidates will be provided with tailored support during a retreat in Oxford in August. The three candidates that are selected to receive additional funding will be announced in October 2016.
