The INSPIRE Consortium has again been selected to support DG ECHO in developing its humanitarian policy

The INSPIRE consortium includes the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), Groupe URD, the Instituto de Estudios sobre Conflictos y Acción humanitaria (IECAH), and is being joined by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI).

The INSPIRE consortium includes the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), Groupe URD, the Instituto de Estudios sobre Conflictos y Acción humanitaria (IECAH), and is being joined by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI).

Groupe URD remains the coordinator of the consortium which will provides DG ECHO with advice and expertise on critical humanitarian issues and assist in shaping its humanitarian policies. The consortium develops humanitarian policies in close consultation with DG ECHO, its partners and beneficiaries on a variety of issues such as gender, food assistance, civil-military relations, protection and linking relief rehabilitation and development. It will also provide support in disseminating DG ECHO policy via workshops and training courses, working in close collaboration with its staff and partners, both in Brussels and in the field.
