From 24 – 26 September, 57 international aid and development experts met at URD’s headquarters for the 2025 Autumn School on humanitarian aid. Given the exceptional situation of the sector at the present time, this year’s theme was ‘Safeguarding the aid sector by transforming it. How may we progress towards collective resilience?’. This document summarises the main points of discussion. Issue 27 of the journal ‘Humanitarian Aid on the move’, to be published in February 2026, is also devoted to these issues.
