What it the Innovation Summit about?
Bringing together innovation experts and crisis leaders, united by a shared purpose: to harness innovation and shape the future of humanitarian action. Together, we will explore how crises are evolving and the role innovation plays in helping us to better anticipate, prepare for and respond to these crises around the world.

A two-day event designed as a journey from inspiration to action
Day 1 – Inspire Tomorrow (21/10)
A day of insight, shared learning and connection. Hear from expert speakers and connect with peers to explore the future of crises, the power and pitfalls of AI and how to build movements for impact.
Day 2 – Design Tomorrow (22/10)
A hands-on day turning big ideas into action. Align on shared challenges & prototype real solutions for the Red Cross & Red Cresent to take forward.
Group URD’s participation
Véronique de Geoffroy will take part in the ‘Inspiration Sessions’ on Day 1, focusing on the theme ‘Crises in 2035… Are we ready?’, a foresight session with Ben Holt, School of International Futures Director.
