Funded by

World Food Program (WFP)

This programme principally covered the regions located in the north of the country and aimed to reinforce the capacity of the Ghanaian government and local communities to establish food and nutritional security sustainably.

It included three main sections:

  • Support for access to education, particularly for girls;
  • Specific nutritional support to vulnerable groups;
  • Resilience against climatic shocks and support to livelihoods.

With its partners, Groupe URD evaluated the quality and results of this programme, made operational and strategic recommendations and also identifyed lessons for future WFP operations in Ghana or in other similar contexts.
