The final evaluation of the project "Increasing capacities and scale for anticipatory action including through social protection systems" (the project) focuses on its three-year partnership between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Directorate General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). The project aimed to integrate anticipatory action with social protection systems in Bangladesh, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Pakistan, the Philippines and Viet Nam. Building on previous initiatives, the project sought to enhance anticipatory action systems and share learnings, influence policy and harmonize strategies across regions. Groupe URD provided external support to the FAO's monitoring and evaluation department to carry out this work.
