This mission will be carried out by an architect/urban planner and an agro-economist specialized in disaster management and will focus on several isolated areas in which FDF funded the reconstruction of housing and collective buildings as well as economic recovery programmes, notably in the agricultural sector. The mission will end with a seminar in Kathmandu involving the local organisations supported by FDF and an FDF delegation. This is the latest in a series of projects carried out with the FDF following natural disasters, which has included Hurricane Mitch in Central America (1998-2000), the Tsunami in South-East Asia (2005-2006) and the Haiti earthquake (2010).
