Our launch will be organised as a hybrid event, allowing you to participate online or to join us in person in Geneva.

Over the past nine years, thousands of you have been working tirelessly to improve quality and accountability by applying the harmonised Core Humanitarian Standard since 2014. Thank you for so generously bringing that collective experience forward through consultations, workshops, and feedback to help update the Standard, making it even stronger and more focused. Thank you for sharing your recommendations, your ideas and your knowledge. As a result, we are delighted to share with you a preview of the updated Standard in advance of its public launch on 21 March 2024!

Additional resources regarding the revision

The updated Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) is publicly available from 21 March 2024.It is the result of a two-year extensive consultation process. The feedback from more than 4,000 individual contributors has been reflected in the Standard which is designed to help shift the aid system to be more accountable to people in need at all stages of design and delivery.
