From aid localisation to the issue of decolonisation, there is more and more debate about how French NGOs establish and run their partnerships, particularly with organisations from the Global South. The fact that the French Development Agency’s funding facility is soon to be accessible to these organisations is a clear illustration of this.

Though partnerships have long been the object of discussion and analysis within Coordination SUD, the question remains of how these new developments should be taken into account in defining, building and implementing partnerships? What might French NGOs need in this respect, and what role could Coordination SUD play in accompanying the sector?

These are some of the questions that will be discussed during the workshop which is being held as part of a series of events dedicated to African and European civil society.
