The collective study, ‘Urgence Beyrouth’ is based on analysis that began in 2021. Due to the consequences of the crisis of 4 August 2020, a number of French and Lebanese associations (Œuvre d’Orient, Fondation de France, Première Urgence Internationale, Amel, Offrejoie, Arc-En-Ciel and LHDF) decided to carry out a lesson learning study conducted with Groupe URD and North Leda.
The presentation of the study will be an opportunity to:
- discuss the context in Lebanon following the explosion;
- learn about the main lessons and recommendations from the emergency response and establish priorities collectively.
The presentation will take place on Thursday 7 July 2022 at the offices of Fondation de France (40 avenue Hoche, Paris 8, Open Space on the 2nd floor), and at Saint Joseph University (Campus des Sciences Humaines, rue de Damas, Beirut, Building C, 5th floor, Salle polyvalente) or can be followed online.
