Véronique de Geoffroy, Groupe URD’s General Director, will be speaking at the round table “Humanitarian action: different approaches to insecurity – Deliberate violence as a symptom: shared analysis and collective action“, organised by Action Contre la Faim, with numerous participants. This event will be taking place online via Teams on Thursday 1 April 2021 from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Véronique will be speaking at the first session: ‘Do you think that the security conditions of humanitarian staff in the field are deteriorating? Are current changes likely to lead to an inability to take action, and prevent communities from receiving international assistance ?’
In the afternoon, the second session will focus on the following question: ‘What ideas / causes and stakeholders should be taken into consideration as a priority in order to limit / prevent the risk of deliberate violence ?’
