Our work continues on the Quality and Accountability Consultants for the Aid Sector in the Sahel project, which covers Mali, Niger and Chad. Having now recruited ten apprentice consultants in each country, we will be running distance learning training sessions from 6 May to mid-September. The training programme will then end in September with a one-week face-to-face session in N’Djamena for all the learners. This will then be followed by a six-month application phase in the field with support from a mentor (personalised individual support).

A training course that aims to:

Reinforce participants’ skills in evaluation and change management

  • Effectively contributing to the fulfilment of quality and accountability commitments in the aid sector;
  • Making pertinent recommendations based on reliable data;
  • Understanding current issues and challenges in the aid sector;
  • Improving your technical and methodological skills;
  • Testing practices and approaches with advice from experienced professionals;
  • Developing your professional relations and learning to work in a team.
