During the first phase, from spring to autumn 2021, Groupe URD and CartONG will focus on assessing the M&E system following a strategic revision and the reorganisation of Sidaction’s departments in 2020. On the basis of this analysis, adjustments will be suggested to create a new system that is better suited to the changes that have taken place. We will then draw up an M&E training guide for Sidaction staff (content, tools, etc.), contribute to ad hoc training courses, and produce a framing document describing the proposed internal and external monitoring procedures. Then, in 2022, there will be a second phase of monitoring to see how staff have appropriated the tools, and training will be provided, if needed.

This organisational support mission is based on the principle of co-construction and a high level of staff involvement throughout the process.

The competencies and experience of the two organisations will help to fully meet Sidaction’s needs by combining Groupe URD’s ‘methodological’ know-how in M&E and CartONG’s know-how in terms of the IT implications of the M&E system.
