The objective of this review is to:

  • analyse the results obtained and the difficulties encountered during implementation;
  • compare the key aspects of the current system with those of its main international partners (USA, UK, Germany, the United Nations, the European Union, etc.)
  • identify emerging issues and priority areas for improvement.

The aim of this review is to identify initial lessons from the implementation of the PRPD Strategy. This will help to suggest ways:

  • to reinforce the functioning of Team France, so that there is coherence and concertation with the ecosystem of international actors working on the same subject;
  • to improve the effectiveness of programmes aimed at fragile situations.

These suggested improvements will contribute to the current process, but they will particularly be of use for the revision of the PRPD Strategy which is planned for 2022. The findings, which will be presented in an inter-ministerial workshop to be held in the last quarter of 2021, should provide a foundation for the future strategy.
