This project will help to implement FAO’s strategic plan in Colombia, notably with regard to specific objectives related to the Peace Agreement and risk and vulnerability reduction at the household and community levels. It will include an analysis of lessons learned from current programmes in the most exposed areas of the country (notably la Guajira in the north and the areas most affected by the conflict in the south), and will consider the next steps that need to be taken and the issues that require particular attention.

This project follows on from two strategic and operational support projects carried out in 2016 for FAO on resilience and the humanitarian response in Northern Nigeria (and more generally in the Lake Chad region) and in the Palestinian Territories.
