Our support focus on the following three areas:

  • An initial analysis of the Unit’s existing practices during their engagement with communities and populations affected by crisis.
  • Defining and prioritising, in a participatory manner, the minimum commitments of action for planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.
  • Drafting a short- and medium-term action plan to implement these commitments in an optimal way.

The Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) is used as a framework for this work. This experience therefore also serves as a pilot for the practical application of the CHS in field practice.

This consultancy includes two field missions to Lebanon, one in December 2017 and the second in January 2018.
