An ambitious collective strategy has led to a significant reduction of the association’s greenhouse gas emissions. The Groupe URD has committed to a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2025 and by 50% by 2030 compared to 2019, relative to its turnover. Between 2019 and 2025, greenhouse gas emissions fell by 48% in absolute terms and by 41% relative to turnover. All categories of emissions are down, but it is above all the dramatic reduction in air travel that explains the positive results, demonstrating the effectiveness of the greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategy and, more specifically, the flight cap policy.
