One year after: the actions supported by the Fondation de France in Nepal, 2016

Following the devastating earthquake of 25 April 2015, the Fondation de France opened a dedicated fund to enable those who so wished to show their solidarity with the most affected populations; 5.2 million euros were collected. One year later, €2.4 million was committed to support 16 projects that provided assistance to 40,000 Nepalese. As soon as the fund opened, the Fondation de France announced that it would support projects over a four-year period: with this first assessment, it explains its method and reports on the achievements already carried out thanks to the generosity of its donors.
