Groupe URD conducted an agrarian system diagnosis to understand the lives of farmers in Baharak, a large valley in northeastern Afghanistan, an area that has been ravaged by 20 years of war. By looking at production systems, the aim was to measure the impact of wheat yield improvement programmes.
