This event, which was attended by around forty participants, will provide food for thought for the coming evaluation (EIMS 1, which has been postponed till January 2022 due to the security context) and will probably be followed up by a second experience-sharing event in the first quarter of 2022.

The objective of this workshop was to identify lessons learned regarding the management and implementation of community labour projects based on the experiences of the community organisations and civil society representatives who were present.

13 community labour projects have been carried out by community-based organisations as part of the Vil Nou Pi Bèl project, with support from CARE Haiti. These projects help to reinforce the capacity of the organisations involved in a variety of areas, such as the design and management of urban infrastructure microprojects which aim to reduce the risk of natural disasters, while reinforcing wellbeing and community relations.
