The study aims to improve understanding of the issues at stake, encourage dialogue between stakeholders and clarify their different positions. It looks at current areas of debate concerning the ‘Triple Nexus’ approach (Humanitarian – Development – Peace), which includes peace building. NGOs are reticent and concerned about this approach, both for ethical and security reasons.
The study was part of the ‘Learning and innovating to improve crisis response’ project, funded by the French Development Agency, La Fondation de France, and Coopération Monégasque.
