Four modules were developed following the drafting and publication of their respective policies: Protection, Gender and Age, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Shelter & Settlements. The modules were initially intended for DG ECHO staff at headquarters and/or in the field (in regional capitals and possibly some other strategic cities), but some of them have generated demand from its partners, thus requiring a wider deployment.

These training courses are mainly based on face-to-face sessions which can, depending on demand, be supplemented by online support and exchanges on the European Commission’s platform (Capacity4Dev.eu).
