In the current context, the priority is of course to increase water production [...] There is also an urgent need to adopt a new approach and take action based on a contiguum, in other words, based on a Nexus approach, which is more relevant than ever. Moreover, to meet everyone’s water needs, and particularly those of the poorest people, it is important to re-consider how the services are funded and how to pay for the poorest people, in the interests of social justice.
