The principal objective is to apply DG ECHO’s localisation approach by promoting equitable partnerships, strengthening local leadership, and identifying practical actions that support organisational change in humanitarian settings.

To achieve this, the course is organised into three modules :

Target audience

This course is designed for humanitarian workers interested in promoting equitable partnerships with local responders in humanitarian settings. It is particularly relevant for staff working for DG ECHO Certified Partners, staff working for local and national actors partnering with DG ECHO-certified organisations, and non-specialists who would like to build a basic understanding of localisation and equitable partnerships.

The course introduces key concepts in a practical and accessible way and does not require prior specialist knowledge.

The course will be available in French and Spanish starting in September.
