Case Studies & videos on Localisation – illustrating DG ECHO’s guidance note

DG ECHO’s guidance note on localisation was published in March 2023. The result of concerted consultations with local, national and international organisations over more than a year, the guidance sets out DG ECHO’s commitment to realise the objectives and vision of the Grand Bargain. With the objective of raising awareness of the guidance note and sharing ideas and inspiration to partners, DG ECHO invited local, national and international organisations to share resources and develop case studies that present their experience of developing projects and approaches that aim to ensure local and national organisations are able to take their rightful, centre-stage role. Groupe URD accompanied and supported the development of these case studies and videos, funded by DG ECHO through the INSPIRE+ consortium. The projects and approaches shared in these case studies are funded by a range of different donors.
